Miley Cyrus Confirms Dating a Sprouse Twin: ‘He Was the Cutest’

Miley Cyrus, the star of Disney’s Hannah Montana, has confirmed that she was indeed dating a Sprouse twin from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, a rumor that has been around for decades now. The pop star confirmed to Alex Cooper during the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special that she had secretly dated Dylan Sprouse.

While rumors surrounding Miley Cyrus and one of the Sprouse twins from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody have existed for a long time, there had been no confirmation until now.

Now years ahead in their respective careers, Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she was indeed dating Dylan Sprouse during her time on Hannah Montana. She revealed this to Alex Cooper during the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special (via E! Online).

“Dylan Sprouse was my boyfriend,” Cyrus revealed. “I think he was the cutest.” Responding to the long-standing rumors about her and one of the Sprouse twins, Cyrus added, “It’s true, confirmed.”

Miley further spoke about how, during their relationship, she got to spend time with both Dylan and Cole Sprouse, who were usually together. However, she reiterated that she had eyes for only one of the twins. “Dylan was my crush,” she said. “Their dad would take us to sushi. I was into the whole culture, and it was a two-for-one. Like, bring the brother. Hello!”

Long before this confirmation, Dylan had jokingly mentioned that he dated Miley, but said that a fellow Disney star played a role in their breakup. “We met at her set, I believe, and we dated,” he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in 2008. “And then Nick Jonas walked by, and it was over.”

As of now, Cyrus is engaged to fellow musician Maxx Morando and appears to have moved on from her Disney era.
