Daredevil: Born Again Actor Responds To Spider-Man: Brand New Day Role
A familiar face from Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again has appeared in the recently released trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the actor has now addressed their involvement in the upcoming film.

The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day was finally released online earlier, packed with action sequences and glimpses of the Webhead facing new threats. Among the rapid shots, eagle-eyed viewers spotted Zabryna Guevara, who plays Wilson Fisk’s political adviser Sheila Rivera in Daredevil: Born Again.
In the trailer, Guevara appears on a television screen, presenting Spider-Man with the key to the city. The moment has led to immediate speculation among fans, particularly since Spider-Man: Brand New Day takes place after the events of Daredevil Born Again Season 2. Many have interpreted the scene as a potential spoiler regarding Kingpin’s time as Mayor of New York coming to an end.
Guevara took to Instagram to acknowledge her cameo, posting her clip from the trailer and writing, “Can you spy lil ole me in this clip??” The post effectively confirms her role in Spider-Man 4.
Furthermore, fellow Daredevil: Born Again star Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk, also recently addressed the trailer shot on X (formerly Twitter). His initial response led some to believe he had confirmed that Rivera would replace Fisk as acting Mayor during Season 2 of the Disney+ series.
But the actor later clarified his remarks. “Didn’t confirm anything. If it’s true I love it. When replied ‘I love it’, was the first time I had seen anything about it,” D’Onofrio explained. “It remains to be the only [time] I have heard such a thing. I’m the last person to know anything about the future of our show or any other show, for that matter. I only know about the job at hand. That is the absolute truth,” he added.
Now, fans have to wait and see how it unfolds when Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 releases on March 24, 2026, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026.
