Halle Berry’s Dominatrix Movie Casts Supergirl Villain, Gets Release Date Update

New developments have emerged for Halle Berry‘s new movie project, as multiple actors have been added to the cast. This includes an actor known for playing a villain in Supergirl. The casting update comes as production begins on the film. It has also received an early indication of its expected release window.

Matthias Schoenaerts and more join the cast of Fleur 

The ensemble for Fleur continues to expand, with Matthias Schoenaerts, Makita Samba, and Marton Csokas joining Halle Berry in the upcoming drama. The project has now moved into production, with filming taking place in Paris, as reported by Deadline. The project is written and directed by Ellie Foumbi, marking her second feature after Our Father, the Devil, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2021.

The film follows a New York housewife, played by Berry. She leaves the United States and her husband of thirty years, portrayed by Csokas, and relocates to Paris. She then takes on a new identity as Fleur and works as an upscale escort and dominatrix. As her past begins to overlap with her new circumstances, the story focuses on whether she will return to her previous life or continue forward.

Fleur is being financed and co-produced by AGC Studios in association with Davis Films, which has secured French distribution rights under the Metropolitan Filmexport banner. The film is produced by Killer Films. Berry also producing through her HalleHolly banner alongside Holly Jeter, and Gabriel Mayers producing for Plot Twist Pictures. Executive producers include AGC’s Stuart Ford, Miguel Palos, and Zach Garrett. They also include Davis Films’ Victor Hadida and Killer Films’ Pam Koffler, and Lorelle Lynch.

Production services are being handled by the Paris-based company Vixens. With filming now underway, the film is expected to reach audiences between 2027 and 2028. Meanwhile, additional details are likely to be announced as production progresses.
