Jason Statham & Jeremy Irons’ $162M Action Movie To Stream on Hulu

A Jason Statham-led action-packed movie now has an official Hulu streaming date and will arrive on the platform very soon. The movie became a massive box-office success and received strong reviews from both audiences and critics. Following its success, a sequel has been greenlit for next year.

The Beekeeper starts streaming on Hulu in April

The Hulu streaming release date for The Beekeeper is Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

It follows Adam Clay, a beekeeper, who works at a barn owned by a retired teacher, Eloise Parker, who treats him like family. To her horror, Eloise becomes a victim of a sophisticated phishing scam. This results in the loss of all her life savings and over $2 million from her charity. Overcome by devastation, Eloise kills herself.

Adam discovers the body and is arrested by Eloise’s daughter, FBI agent Verona Parker. After being cleared of all charges, Adam goes on a rage-filled mission to locate the people who scammed his beloved friend.

David Ayer helmed the movie with a script by Kurt Wimmer. Jason Statham stars as Adam and co-produced the movie under his production company, Punch Palace Productions. The cast also includes Jeremy Irons, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Phylicia Rashad, Minnie Driver, and David Witts, among others.

Released on January 12, 2024, The Beekeeper won over both audiences and critics, praising Statham’s performance and intense action sequences. On review-aggregator sites like Rotten Tomatoes, the movie boasts an average user rating of 92%, while earning a respectable 71% approval rating from 183 critics.

Furthermore, the movie experienced an impressive box-office run. By the time it ended its theatrical release, it earned $162.6 million globally (via Box Office Mojo). Since it was made on a reported $40 million budget, it became one of the first hits of 2024.

In early 2025, the studio announced a sequel, The Beekeeper 2, which is currently aiming for a January 15, 2027, release. Both Statham and Irons will reprise their roles, along with a few other actors.
