A Quiet Place 3: John Krasinski Announces Cast, Includes New & Returning Stars
The cast of A Quiet Place 3 has been announced.
Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place 3, also known as A Quiet Place: Part III, is currently scheduled to arrive in United States theaters next year. The movie is once again being directed by John Krasinski, who made 2018’s A Quiet Place and 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II.
Who has been cast in A Quiet Place 3?
On Twitter, Krasinski officially announced the main cast of A Quiet Place 3 with the caption, “So proud to be a part of this #AQuietPlace family… old and new! Here we go!”
Returning cast members include Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott, Cillian Murphy as Emmett, Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott, and Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott. Joining the cast of the franchise are Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian.
Plot and character details remain under wraps at this time. Production is expected to begin this spring in New York. The screenplay comes from Krasinski, with The Office star also producing the film alongside Allyson Seeger for Sunday Night and Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form for Platinum Dunes.
O’Connell is best known for playing Remmick in the Oscar-winning Sinners. He recently starred as Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, and he’ll also soon be seen in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
Clarke played John Connor in 2015’s Terminator Genisys and Roger Robb in 2023’s Oppenheimer. His filmography further includes 2012’s Zero Dark Thirty, 2013’s The Great Gatsby, 2014’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, 2015’s Everest, 2018’s First Man, 2019’s Pet Sematary, 2025’s A House of Dynamite, and more.
O’Brian starred alongside Kristen Stewart in 2024’s Love Lies Bleeding and has a role as a character named Elia Kane in The Mandalorian. She has also been in movies such as 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, 2024’s Twisters, 2025’s Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, 2025’s The Running Man, and more.
In addition to A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II, there was also a prequel movie, A Quiet Place: Day One. Krasinski worked on the story for that movie; however, Michael Sarnoski took over as director, while the cast includes Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.
A Quiet Place: Part III will be released on July 30, 2027.
