Scream’s Neve Campbell & Steve Coogan’s Divisive 2018 Movie Now Streaming for Free

One of Lionsgate‘s divisive comedy-drama movies starring Scream vet Neve Campbell and Golden Globe nominee Steve Coogan is finally streaming for free. 2018’s Hot Air movie is now available for free streaming on Lionsgate Movies’ YouTube Channel. Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the film still managed to score an average Popcornmeter rating of 61% on Rotten Tomatoes.

What do we know about Neve Campbell’s Hot Air movie?

“The film follows an abrasive right-wing radio host whose perfect life is thrown into disarray when his sassy long-lost 16-year-old niece turns up on his doorstep, ready to challenge everything he stands for,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.

Hot Air was directed by The Wedding Singer and Click filmmaker Frank Coraci, with Will Reichel writing the screenplay. The ensemble cast included Coogan as Lionel Macomb, Campbell as Val Gannon, Taylor Russell as Tess Macomb, Judith Light as Judith Montefiore-Salters, Skylar Astin as Gareth Whitley, Jin Ha as Wendel, Griffin Newman as Tyler Stafford, Pico Alexander as Grayson, Tina Benko as Laurie Macomb, Lawrence Gilliard Jr. as Earl, and more. It was executive-produced by Coogan, Robert A. Halmi, Jim Reeve, and Reichel, with Coraci, Aimee Keen, and Susan Leber serving as producers.

The creative team consisted of cinematographer Frank Prinzi, editor Tom Lewis, production designer Liz Toonkel, costume designer Rebecca Luke, art director Shelly Rodriguez, set decorator Kim Fischer, and composer Rupert Gregson-Williams. The film has a total runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes.
