Jennifer Aniston, Jon Hamm, & Zoey Deutch’s Sex Comedy Movie Sets Release Date

Sony Pictures Classics has announced the release date for its newest raunchy comedy, starring Golden Globe winners Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm as they portray themselves. Before the upcoming movie, they previously starred together in Apple TV’s The Morning Show. Titled Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, the film is led by Zombieland: Double Tap star Zoey Deutch as she plays the titular character.

“Small-town hairdresser Gail Daughtry is engaged to her devoted high school sweetheart, Tom. Her life takes a turn when a trip to a book signing leads to Tom meeting – and sleeping – with his ‘celebrity pass.’ Reeling from the betrayal, Gail impulsively joins her friend Otto on a trip to Los Angeles, where a psychic convinces Gail that the only way to save her marriage is to ‘even the scales’ with her own celebrity pass: Jon Hamm,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Thus begins an epic journey through Tinseltown as Gail and Otto join forces with a talent agency assistant, a paparazzo, and actor John Slattery, all in the search for Hamm. Along the way, they collide with celebrities and are hunted by a group of Italian assassins as they get ever closer to finding the elusive star.”

When is the release date for Jon Hamm’s Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex movie?

Following its world premiere at the recent Sundance Film Festival, Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 10, 2026, pitting it directly against Disney’s live-action Moana remake. It will also debut in the same month as other high-profile movies such as The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The comedy movie is directed by David Wain, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ken Marino. The ensemble cast includes John Slattery (Nuremberg), Ken Marino (The Residence), Miles Gutierrez-Riley (Smile 2), Ben Wang (Karate Kid: Legends), Joe Lo Truglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus). It is also expected to feature lots of hilarious cameos from celebrities.

Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass is produced by Anthony Bregman, Peter Cron, Ken Marino, David Wain, Crystine Zhang, and Charles Zhong. Executive producers include Robert Herjavec, Chenchen Dong, Tom Griffin, Amanda Chang, Adrian Politowski, Jamie Canniffe, Franny Baldwin, Deutsch, Hamm, and Slattery.
