Hit 2025 Movie With 98% RT Score Returning to Theaters Next Month
Crunchyroll has announced the theatrical rerelease date for one of the highest-grossing action fantasy movies that debuted in 2025. After enjoying a critical and commercial success during its initial theatrical run, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is officially heading back to theaters. It will be shown in both Japanese with English subtitles as well as dubbed in English.
When is the rerelease date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will be returning to theaters in the United States and Canada on March 6, 2026. In addition, for the first time, the movie will also be available on SCREENX, the world’s first multi-projection cinema with an immersive 270-degree field of view.
The popular anime movie serves as the first installment in an epic three-part cinematic trilogy. It was directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with ufotable producing. Since its debut, it has maintained its near-perfect approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. At the moment, the film has already earned a gross of over $795 million at the global box office.
Demon Slayer is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The Japanese voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kitō as Nezuko, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke, Takahiro Sakurai as Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Saori Hayami as Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Katsuyuki Konishi as Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, Kengo Kawanishi as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Kana Hanazawa as Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, Kenichi Suzumura as Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro, Tomokazu Seki as Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Tomokazu Sugita as Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima.
“Tanjiro Kamado — a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps, after his younger sister, Nezuko, was turned into a demon. While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village,” reads the official synopsis.
“As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters, but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold — the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.”
