Well Go USA has released the first trailer for Frontier Crucible, the upcoming American Western movie starring Thomas Jane and Armie Hammer.
“A desperately needed wagon full of medical supplies falls victim to an Apache attack,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “The only man who can guide it through to its destination is Merrick Beckford, but in order to get there, he’ll need to enlist the help of a trio of dangerous outlaws hell-bent on survival. When they accidentally kill an Apache scout, all bets are off, and survival is the name of the game in director Travis Mills’s western thriller.”

What happens is in the Frontier Crucible trailer?
The trailer highlights a man tasked with bringing medical supplies down through the south of Arizona in the late 1800s. On his journey, the man finds a group who are stranded, and things quickly devolve into chaos as the group soon tries to convince him the trip is not worth the dangers it poses.
The Frontier Crucible trailer features a variety of stars, most notably Armie Hammer, who is making his return to acting for the first time since 2022’s Death on the Nile. Alongside Hammer, Frontier Crucible also features a fairly star-studded cast, including Thomas Jane, William H. Macy, Myles Clohessy, Eli Brown, Eddie Spears, and more.
In 2022, Hammer dropped out of major movie and TV projects after he was caught up in a social media controversy where he was accused of sexual assault. Before this, the Golden Globe nominee received critical acclaim for his performances in David Fincher’s The Social Network and Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name. The latter earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also starred in The Man from U.N.C.L.E with Henry Cavill, Nocturnal Animals with Jake Gyllenhaal, On the Basis of Sex with Felicity Jones, and Death on the Nile with Kenneth Branagh.
Frontier Crucible is directed by Travis Mills, and is based on the 1961 novel Desert Stake-Out by author Harry Whittington. Dallas Sonnier, David Gulielmo, Lillian Campbell, and Preston Poulter are producers on the film.
